The title is just enough to explain the greatness of this cricketer. He is our beloved VVS Laxman. Not many people are really familiar with his real name. His real name is Vangipurapu Venkata Sai Laxman.
Before emerging as a frontline batsman, he represented Hyderabad. He is mostly known for his great legendary test innings of 281 against the Aussies in 2001 at the Eden Gardens under tremendous pressure and thus helped India to win the match. This was only the second time in the history of International Test Cricket that a team had managed to win a Test after being forced to follow on.
He is mostly known for his batting performances against the Aussies. He has scored 6 hundreds out of 17 in Tests and 4 hundreds out of 6 in ODIs against Australia.
