Realism vs Materialism

• Today we all are living in an age where we are endowed with the vastness of every small and minute thing. For everything, we have alternate substitutes available. Say if we want to purchase a Car, there are a plethora of options available in different segments like Sedan, A Premium Hatchback, A Jeep, A Van etc. We can choose Car according to the color options with the special offers of different brands. Likewise, every other thing that we encounter these days comes with a lot of choices and options. But did you notice one thing, that apart from the materialistic nature that this world has adopted as a new way today, there are some things that are hard to be substituted with?

• These things are nothing, but one with Realism. The World is something more than mere Materialism. Can we bring satisfaction and calmness of our mind by possessing exuberant amenities? Can we stay Happy forever by acquiring huge wealth? The answer is ambiguous. We can't say confidently that we have conquered our weaknesses and turned every hardship into happiness. Materials are available in plenty but are insufficient in most of the cases in curbing a multitude of problems faced by this age.

• As far as my observations about the world are concerned, I have noticed that Realism matters more than Materialism. Where there is a substance in the attitude and character and wisdom within, then materialism gets immediately discarded. Individual bound by realistic thoughts and perceptions can win any battle in Life regardless of the domain. 

• If humans possess positivity and strength of character then the peace of mind can be achieved sooner or later. Humans have endured the most difficult times of the History, but still, these materialistic flaws have affected a lot to the humans even today. Lastly, if there would be a battle between Realism and Materialism, then I can confidently predict that Realism will win. The reason is simple, that which is Reality will survive no matter how strong fakeness is. Lastly, it is the thought process of individuals that is the key decider of his/her destiny. We Create and Destroy the World by our Minds.
