Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma and Yuvraj Singh all are prominent T20 batsmen. They all are known mostly for their hitting and scoring runs at a good strike rate.
Their ability to hit the ball hard is mainly suitable for limited overs Cricket. But when it comes to Test Cricket, all these batsmen fail to maintain their identity as a frontline batsmen.
I think that the main reasons behind this may be simply their technique. The way they hit the ball very hard does not fit completely for classic Test cricket.
Test cricket is the most difficult format in International cricket as every player need to maintain a patience and also need to soak the pressure on and off the field for 5 days.
I think they must also need to concentrate on Test Cricket just as they take the limited overs cricket and it's a true fact that, a batsman who can perform well in test cricket is also likely to perform well in limited overs format.
