Whenever we hear the word 'cricket', one strange thing happens in our minds. We imagine that its a game played with a bat and a ball. But its not wrong to say that one more thing happens in our minds that Cricket is almost incomplete without this great man. I hope you have guessed by now!
He is none other than The God Of Cricket i.e. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar.
Not me, but for millions of cricket fans, he is the main reason for them to follow this very game. His curly hair, normal height and a very steady and graceful batting stance won a heart of millions of cricket fans all over the globe. He holds almost every batting record that ever exists.
The way he batted in an era of unplayable deadly bowlers such as Glenn McGrath, Brett Lee, Waqar Younis, Shoaib Akhtar, Wasim Akram, Shane Warne etc. and many more was very amazing. Whatever the records he made, are still very difficult to be broken. His achievement of hundred 100s is almost next to impossible to be broken in the upcoming years by even the best of the batsmen.
What's fantastic about Sachin is that, he's more than a cricketer and larger than life as a person. That's why only he is titled as the 'God of Cricket'. Not only he created invincible records but also he won the hearts of the millions of cricket fans across the world. This man has not only created marvels through his batting but thoroughly he has made our country proud.
The way in which the Aussies dominated in the 90s was great, but this legend has dominated the Aussies like a one man army. He has served our nation for 24 long years. The amount of his practice, hardwork and the good combination of perseverance, dedication and intelligence has inspired the whole cricketing fraternity. I just want to say that even million words are not enough to explain this man. Only 4 words are enough to explain him i.e. The God Of Cricket.
